How to use Hy-Tek

The Hy-Tek database is used to record the times of both KRSC Club and Cadet swimmers. It includes all times achieved at club championships, open meets, counties, regionals, nationals and cadet and inter-club galas.  For the more junior swimmers it also records times achieved at club time trials.

These times can be used to enter events although it is worth noting that for some competitions, times must have been achieved at a certain level of meet (see gala page) for them to be accepted. The database can also be used to look at results from meets that KRSC has participated in.

Finding your PBs:

  • Go to the Hy-Tek database under “Results and PBs” on the website
  • Click on the button that says “athletes”
  • Click on the button for the first letter of your surname then scroll down to your name
  • Click on the “times” button next to your name and it will take you through to your page
  • The default setting is to “yards” so go to the button on the left of the table and switch this to SCM (short course meters).  This will give you times for 25m pools.  The LCM button will give you times for any times achieved in a 50m pool
  • The table will show all your fastest times for all events.  If you want to look at a particular event click the relevant button on the left and if you want to look at more than just the fastest time you have achieved for this, go to the button marked “fastest” in the middle of the screen and switch this to the number you want.

Finding meet results:

  • Go to the Hy-Tek database under “Results and PBs” on the website
  • Click on the button that says “meet results”
  • Scroll down to the meet you are interested in then click the “results” button
  • Results will be shown in alphabetical order and can be filtered by gender, stroke etc using the buttons at the top
