Juniors

About this Squad

Juniors Squad is the first squad focused on developing competitive swimming within the main club squad structure and the first squad at which we encourage swimmers to enter externally run Open Meets.

Progressing on from the Academy Squads, swimmers will continue to develop their swim skills in all strokes, so that a strong IM base is achieved, while being challenged to develop their aerobic capacity and speed.

This is the top performance squad in the club. Senior Performance Squad swimmers are expected to have a ‘Training to Perform’ approach and as such will adhere to all aspects of the training and competition program.

Swimmers in this squad are expected to set the example by which all swimmers in the club strive to achieve.

Swimmers are expected to qualify for London Regional Championships and to have the aspiration and training commitment to aim to qualify for Nationals.
